The Define Estimation screen allows users to view monthly estimates on Appalachian Production points, modify estimate settings and override calculated estimates.

To retrieve estimation, specify the month and pooling contract and click .

To update estimation:

• Select the month and pooling contract and click .
• Update data, as needed, and click .

[edit] FIELDS

• Month - Accounting period of interest.

• Pooling Contract - Pooling contract of interest.

• Location - Proprietary number of the Appalachian receipt point.

• Name - Name of the Appalachian receipt point.

• Agg Area - Aggregation Area - Aggregation area in which the point lies.

• EGM - Electronic Gas Measurement - Indicates that the measurement on the point is done electronically, without the use of charts.

• Date of Last Reading - The last date when the meter was read.

• Estimations Override Noms - Indicates whether the system should override the initializing nomination with a monthly estimate.

• Last Year's Mthly Prod - Total production for the same month in the previous year.

• MTD Actuals - Month-To-Date Actuals - Total actual readings from the beginning of the month to the current date.

• Update Auto for Actuals - Indicates whether the system should update automatically calculated estimate using new meter readings.

• Current Auto Estimate - Automatically calculated estimate based on previous meter readings.

• Estimate Override - Allows the user to specify a monthly estimate that will supersede any automatically calculated estimates.

• Applied Estimate - Monthly estimate that is applied to the nominations and tolerance calculations; appears only when the Estimations Override Noms and Update Auto For Actuals flags are set to Yes. Unless an estimate override is entered, the number will be equal to the auto-estimate.
