The following fields arrear on the Parameter Tab:
General Parameter Information:
- Parameter Name – A short but descriptive name of the Parameter.
- Description – A more detailed description of what the parameter does.
- Parameter Type – Identifies how the data will be entered or stored for the parameter. Valid options are:
- Input – Entered by the user as an input at the time of contract creation.
- Static – Entered as a static variable for the service. Does not change over time.
- Variable – Can be updated by the system as appropriate processes complete or change.
- Data Type – The type of data which will be used within the parameter.
- Unit of Measure – The units of measure for the parameter.
Static Parameter Information:
- Domain Name – The name of the domain which defines the possible values for the parameter. Domain names are predefined for appropriate values.
- Interval Indicator – Identifies whether the parameter holds a single value, or a range bounded by a high and a low value.
Variable Parameter Information:
- Track Frequency – How often, or at what interval the parameter value would be changed by the system (used for variable parameters only).
- Track Initial Value – The initial value of a variable parameter.
- Track Action – The way in which a variable parameter will be used by the system. Valid options are:
- Accumulate – Maintain a running total.
- Count – Count the number of times an action occurs.
- Value – Store a changing value.
The Right and Price Templates Using this Parameter is a system generated list. It is helpful to review this list when making changes to a parameter, so you know which rights would be affected.
The following fields appear on the Domain Tab:
