The Nomination Area in Navigates™ provides tools necessary for creating, viewing and maintaining daily nominations. It contains the following menu items:

  • Nomination Form - Allows users to create, update and view nominations, one record at a time.
  • Nomination Matrix - Allows users to create, update and view nominations, several records at a time.
  • Default Nominations - Allows users to create, update and view default OBA and Swing nominations.
  • Super Nomination Matrix - Allows users to create, update and view pipe-to-pipe nominations.
  • Nomination History - Allows users to view nomination history for a single day or a date range.


TERMS

Nomination - Point-to-point request of service by a nominating agent under a shipper's contract with the pipeline for a given day. A nomination contains three basic components: contract, receipt point, delivery point.

Contract - Legal binding agreement that contains details on how a gas transaction is handled between the customer and the pipeline.
Receipt Point - Location from which the gas is received.
Delivery Point - Location to which the gas is delivered.
