Allows users to segment contracts.

[edit] View Contracts

Click image:retrieve.jpg to retrieve contracts.
Use the search fields at the top to narrow the search results.
Select an entry from the list to view details.

[edit] Segment Contracts

To segment a contract:

  • Retrieve and select the contract you wish to segment.
  • Select the path in the Locations Information matrix.
  • Enter Segment Quantity, Start and End date and click [Segment Selected Entry].
  • A verification message will pop up - click [Yes].


Rules:

Segment Start Date must be entered before the timely nomination cycle deadline of the previous day.
Segmentation dates must be within path effective dates.
Segment quantity cannot be greater that the path quantity.


[edit] Update Unsegment Date

To change segmentation end date to an earlier date:

  • Select the segment you wish to update.
  • Click [Update Unsegment Date].
  • Enter new segment end date in the pop up window.


[edit] Unsegment Contracts

To unsegment a contract:

  • Select the segment you wish to deactivate in the Segmentation Information matrix.
  • Click [Unsegment Selected Entry].
  • A verification message will pop up - click [Yes].




[edit] FIELDS

  • Contract - Segmented contract.
  • Svc Requester - Name of the customer associated with the contract.
  • Service - Service name.
  • Rate Schedule - Type of service that the contract covers.
  • Begin Date - Contract term begin date.
  • End Date - Contract term end date.


Location Information
Primary paths on the contract

  • Eff Begin/End Dt - Primary path term dates.
  • Receipt Code - Primary receipt point code.
  • Delivery Code - Primary delivery point code.
  • Quantity - Total path quantity.
  • Segment Qty - Total segment quantity.
  • Segment Start/End date - Segmentation dates.


Segmentation Information
Active and inactive segmentations on the contract

  • Id - System identifier.
  • Asset - Pipeline segment.
  • Status - Segmentation status (active/inactive).
  • Segment Date - Segmentation initiation date.
  • Unsegment Date - Date of unsegmentation initiation.
  • Rec Code - Segmentation receipt location.
  • Del Code - Segmentation delivery location.
  • Qty - Total segmentation quantity.
  • Eff Begin/End Date - Effective date range.
  • Upstream K - Upstream contract produced via segmentation.
  • Downstream K - Downstream contract produced via segmentation.


Buttons

Segment Selected Entry
Initiates segmentation.
Update Unsegment Date
Allows updates to segmentation end date.
Unsegment Selected Entry
Deactivates segmentation.
