Shipper Release and Pipeline Auction Areas in Navigates™ allow users and pipeline operators to release firm capacity. Shippers wishing to release their unexpired contracts should use the Shipper Release vertical. Pipeline operators wishing to re-release an expired contract or capacity that will become available in the future should use the Pipeline Auction vertical. Both verticals have similar functionality and contain the following menu items:

  • Offers - Allows users to post a release or an auction.
  • Bids - Allows users to bid on posted releases or auctions.
  • Awards - Allows users to view award information.
