The Transaction Request screen allows users to post, submit and approve transaction requests

[edit] View Requests

Click image:retrieve.jpg to retrieve data.
Use the search fields at the top to narrow the search results.
Select an entry from the list to view details.

[edit] Create, Submit & Approve Transactions

[edit] Step 1: Enter General Information (Required)

  • Click Navigates™.
  • Select the umbrella contract and fill out the required fields.

OR

  • Select an existing transaction request you wish to copy and click image:Copy.jpg. Edit details, as necessary.
  • Click image:Submit.jpg.


[edit] Step 2: Specify Inputs (Required)

  • Navigate to the {Transaction Inputs tab.
  • Click [New] at the top of the matrix you wish to edit.
  • Fill out required fields.
  • Click image:Submit.jpg.


[edit] Step 3: Enter Comments (Optional)

  • Navigate to the Comments tab.
  • Click [New].
  • Enter comment text.
  • Click image:Submit.jpg.


[edit] Step 4: Submit Transaction (Required)

Select Screen Functions >> Submit Transaction.
Select Screen Functions >> UnSubmit Transaction if you wish to unsubmit a transaction.

[edit] Step 5: Approve/Reject Transaction (Required)

This step must be completed by a pipeline representative.
Select Screen Functions >> Approve Transaction if you wish to approve transaction.
Select Screen Functions >> Reject Transaction if you wish to reject transaction.

[edit] Transaction

Displays general information about transaction such as umbrella contract and dates.

  • Transaction Id - Transaction system ID.
  • Transaction Request Id - Transaction request system ID.
  • Svc Req K - Umbrella contract.
  • Service Requester - Name of the customer associated with the contract.
  • Transaction Date - Date transaction was created.
  • Sales Rep - Pipeline customer service representative.
  • Customer Requested - Customer contact who requested transaction.
  • Phone - Phone number associated with the contact.
  • Eff Begin / End Date - Transaction term dates.
  • Status - Transaction status.
  • Rate Schedule - Type of service that the contract covers.
  • Service - Service name.
  • Max Rate Ind - Tariff maximum rate indicator.
  • Description - Details of action performed by the scheduling process.


[edit] Transaction Inputs

Displays parameters that define transaction limits and allowances.
Inputs and parameters vary by service; therefore, the layout of the screen will change depending on the umbrella contract selected.

[edit] Comments

Displays comments relevant to the request.

  • Comment - Text.
  • Visibility - Comment visibility to internal/external users.
  • Comment By - ID of the user who entered the comment.
  • Comment Date - Timestamp.
