The Unauthorized Gas screen allows users to view information about allocated gas, which has no matching nomination and for which no shipper is identified. During the month the pipeline creates nominations for unclaimed gas using either receipt or delivery admin contract, depending on the direction of gas flow.Subsequently, the pipeline has the option to purchase or sell the gas from/to point operator.
The assignment usually takes place on a monthly basis. If it is done nefore the end of the month, a final assignment will still be necessary at the end of the month. All Open unauthorized gas needs to be assigned before the allocation function can be locked for the month-end process.

NOTE: The standard admin contracts of Navigates™ are 500211 – UGR (UnAuth Gas Delivery) and 500210 – UGD (UnAuth Gas Receipt).

[edit] Assign Unauthorized Gas

To assign unauthorized gas:

• Select a location that has an Open status from the search list.
• Click the [Assign] button. The system will generate nominations for unclaimed gas to the standard admin contract.

• Loc Prop - Location proprietary number.

• Flow Date - Date on which the flow occurred.

• Flow Begin/End Time - Flow time stamp.

• Dir of Flow - Direction of flow.

• Accounting Period - Accounting period.

• Analyst - Pipeline analyst in charge of scheduling.

• UnAuth Qty - Total unclaimed quantity on the specified point and flow date.

• Assigned Qty - Total quantity assigned to the pipeline.

• Status - Current status of unauthorized gas.

• Point Cd - Location proprietary number.

• Point Name - Location full name.

• Notification Date - Date when the operator was notified of the unauthorized gas.

• Svc Req K - Service Requester Contract - Contract on which the nomination is placed.

NOTE: The data displayed at the bottom of the screen may vary daily. New nomination records may appear or a LAT or SDY nomination may be scheduled to flow, thereby claiming the measured volume on a specified point and flow date.
