The Physical Area in Navigates™ provides tools necessary for creating and maintaining pipeline facilities and conditions. It contains the following menu items:

  • Location - Allows users to view and maintain detailed information about operating points.
  • Meter - Allows users to view data sent by MIPS (Measurement Information Processing System).
  • Location Group - Allows users to view and maintain associations between locations.
  • Section - Allows users to view and maintain segment relationships necessary to track nominations, determine capacity utilization on a daily basis, and change the segment status for scheduling purposes.
  • Unsubscribed Firm Capacity - Allows users to post physical capacity that has not been sold on a firm contract on the pipe.
  • Notices - Allows users to view and post critical and informational notices.
  • Must Flow Path - Allows users to create a path of gas flow that passes through a certain point.
  • Inter-Asset Location - Allows users to view and maintain inter-asset locations.
